Epidemic

The earth revolves around the sun
yet we deem ourselves invincible of night's predators
Carbon dating self destruction back to the blue prints of poets
who have always existed
because they did more than just exist
Yet we've never done more than just be
And Weak minds are lining up like chromosomes
dividing into nothing and epidemically eroding intelligence
It's spreading like butter on bread
and our youth is mentally dying
They forgot that the earth revolves around the sun
and the moon circles the earth like Saturn rings,
That lunar shadow casts around us,
and every day we walk behind it letting it lead us
